Configuring WebSphere MQ transports

After you create a WebSphere® MQ transport, you must configure it to record, send, and receive WebSphere MQ messages within IBM® DevOps Test Integrations and APIs (Test Integrations and APIs).

Before recording, publishing to queues, and subscribing from queues, you must have started WebSphere MQ and the relevant queue manager and defined the wanted channels. You must also have access to the SYSTEM.DEFAULT.MODEL.QUEUE to use Test Integrations and APIs with WebSphere MQ. For more information about security settings, see the related links.
To configure a transport, do the following steps:
  1. Double-click the appropriate WebSphere MQ queue manager resource in the Architecture School Physical View.

The dialog for WebSphere MQ Queue Manager is displayed.

    Note:
The Stubbing tab is only available in Test Integrations and APIs 8.0.1 or later. For information about this tab, refer to the related links.
  2. Enter a name for the transport in the Name field to help identify it when multiple WebSphere MQ queue manager transports are available.

The settings for the transport are separated into five tabs: Settings, SSL, Recording, Options, and Advanced.

    Note:
All of the configuration fields except the Password field support the use of tags. You can enter tags manually or from the menu. The Password field is encrypted .
  3. To test the transport settings at any time, click Test Transport. If the test is unsuccessful, verify the values in use.
You can configure other settings. See the following tasks.
