Low-intensity performance testing

During the assessment phase, when you are running small-scale functional tests (unit or component integration tests), low-intensity performance testing is helpful to track the response times of individual transactions.

When you are taking new builds and running regression tests, if a transaction response time jumps beyond tolerance levels, this can be remedied immediately. Do not wait for full-scale performance testing in IBM® DevOps Test Integrations and APIs (Test Integrations and APIs) because this is far more costly.
