Running tests against deployed stubs

You can run a test against a deployed stub instance.

You must have completed the following tasks:

Configured the server and client host and port details for the web server physical transport. See Creating physical web server resources.
Created and deployed stubs.

Open the custom execution dialog in one of the following ways:
- Select a test and press Shift + F5.
- Right-click a test, and then select Run... from the menu.
- Select a test, click the small arrow next to the Run icon in the main toolbar, then select the Run... option.
  The Run <test_name> window is displayed.
Select the environment in which the test is to be run from the Environment list.
In the Execution Preference section, select the Run against deployed stub option.

The stubs that use the same physical host and port number as the test are listed in the field.
Select the instance of the stub that you want to use.
Click Run to run the test.
