Generating a configuration file for Test Integrations and APIs

If you want to use Library Manager on computers that do not have a GUI, you can generate an XML configuration file by using a setting on the LibConfig command.

To generate an XML configuration file for the current IBM® DevOps Test Integrations and APIs (Test Integrations and APIs) installation, follow these steps:

  1. Open a command prompt or terminal and enter the following command:

    LibConfig -genLibSettings <Full path to configuration file>

    For example:

    
LibConfig -genLibSettings /opt/ghconfig/librarysettings.xml

    The configuration file for Test Integrations and APIs is created in the specified location.

    Note:
    The configuration file contains the current Library Manager settings for the user who generates it (that is, the logged in user who runs the LibConfig command).
  2. If necessary, edit the generated file before you process it on the target computer. If no changes to the configuration are required, apply the configuration file. See the related links.
