Processing non-native (XML) IDocs

Using IBM® DevOps Test Integrations and APIs (Test Integrations and APIs), you can send an XML encoded version of an IDoc to any appropriate receiver.

To send an XML encoded version of an IDoc to an appropriate receiver, use an IDoc field expander on a string based node within any other message type.

  1. In the message editor, right-click a suitable string field, then click Schema.

  2. In the Schema Selector, click Messaging > SAP IDoc.
    In the example, an IDoc is applied to the text body of an EMS message, which can be done for any string field within Test Integrations and APIs, that is, ending, receiving, generation.
