If domain-level security is enabled in IBM® DevOps Test Virtualization Control Panel (Test Virtualization Control Panel)
and you are a Test Virtualization Control Panel system
or domain administrator, you can assign domain user, domain API user,
or domain administrator privileges to other server users.
After domain-level security is enabled, a system administrator
can create at least one domain administrator for each domain.
- Log into Test Virtualization Control Panel.
- Click the Administration navigation
link.
Alternatively, click the Administration icon
on the Home page.
The Administration page is displayed.
- Click the Domains and environments tab.
The Domains and environments tab is
displayed.
- In the list of domains on the left side of the Domains
and environments tab, click the relevant domain.
- Click Users (if necessary) to display
the Users page.
- To assign domain privileges to user, complete the following
tasks:
- Click the plus button.
The Add
users to domain window is displayed.
- Under Users, select the check
box next to the relevant user name.
- Under Roles, select the check
boxes next to the relevant roles.
Note: Only user or API user privileges should be assigned to an IBM DevOps Test Integrations and APIs Agent (Test Integrations and APIs Agent) or proxy. Domain administrator
privileges should not be assigned to an agent or proxy.
- Click Save.
- To modify the domain privileges of a user, complete the
following tasks:
- Click the Edit roles icon next
to the users name.
The Edit user in
this domain window is displayed.
- Under Roles, select or clear
the check boxes as required.
- Click Save.
- To remove the domain privileges of a user, click the Remove
user from domain icon next to the users name.
The specified domain privileges are assigned to, modified
for, or removed from the specified user.
