Installation overview

The IBM® DevOps Test Workbench (Test Workbench) installation package includes several products and components. These can be installed together or separately.

Test Workbench Products

The Test Workbench package includes the following products and components:
  • IBM DevOps Test Integrations and APIs
  • IBM DevOps Test UI
  • IBM DevOps Test Performance
  • IBM DevOps Test Virtualization Control Panel

Auxiliary products

The auxiliary products that you can use along with the Test Workbench products but are not included in the Test Workbench package are as follows:
  • IBM DevOps Test Virtualization
  • IBM DevOps Test Performance Test Server

To use these auxiliary products you must purchase the licenses to use them. You can then download and install these products separately.

You can use either or both these products by installing the IBM DevOps Test Integrations and APIs Agent that is available when you purchase either IBM DevOps Test Virtualization or IBM DevOps Test Performance Test Server. You must download and install the agent separately.

Licenses

You must have purchased licenses to download and use the products in the Test Workbench package. The licensed software is listed in your entitlement and the software packages are available for downloading. For more information about licenses, see Managing licenses.
