Task flow for setting up DevOps Test UI

The diagram in this topic shows the task flow for setting up IBM® DevOps Test UI (Test UI).

Although the diagram implies that each task is completed sequentially, you can do many of the tasks at the same time.
The diagram shows the task flow for functional testing using Test UI.

1 Install a supported version of these items:
  1. Operating system
  2. Microsoft .Net Framework (for testing Windows)
  3. Microsoft Visual Studio .Net (for .Net scripting)
 Hardware and Software requirements.
2 Install the product. Installing DevOps Test UI.
3 Set up the test environment.
3.1 Verify that a supported Java Runtime Environment (JRE) is available. Java support.
3.2 Verify that a supported browser is available. HTML support.

Verify whether the environment for functional testing is enabled automatically.

3.4 Optionally, if the test environment is not enabled, manually enable the required environment for functional testing. Preparing the functional test environment.

Check the compatibility between the operating systems, browsers, and JREs when you set up Test UI.
