Running DevOps Test Integrations and APIs tests
You can use IBM® DevOps Test UI (Test UI) Extension for IBM DevOps Test Integrations and APIs (Test Integrations and APIs) to run integration tests.
You also have the option to just import the projects to Test UI from Test Integrations and APIs, add the tests to a compound test to run them. You can either use DevOps Test Performance Agent or Test Integrations and APIs Agent to generate the load. You need a compound test that contains the Test Integrations and APIs tests.
If you update integrationAPI tests in Test UI and want to apply the updates back to Test Integrations and APIs, you must install Test Integrations and APIs and define the path to its installation directory to set the connection.
You can find the following use cases to work with integration tests in Test UI:
-
You have installed both the products and then you connect to the Integration project. Alternatively, you open the Integration resource directly from the Test Navigator view, and then work directly with the sources files.
-
Test Integrations and APIs is not installed and you import the projects in the workspace of Test UI.
Note:The imported tests must be edited in Test Integrations and APIs. Similarly, the compounds tests must be edited in Test UI.
Running the compound test
Click Run Compound Test.
After the run completes, the Test Integrations and APIs report displays statistics on the executed sequences and Timed Sections if some are defined in the tests.
