Stopping a test run

You can stop a test run when issues occur or if you decide to stop the run before completion.

Before you begin

You must have completed the following tasks:

Ensured that you are assigned a Team Space Owner, Project Owner, or Member with a Tester role to create or edit a test resource.
Initiated a test run from the Test Editor page.

You can stop a running test from the Test Editor page if the test run is in the In transition or Running state.

Go to the Test Editor page.
Click the Stop playback icon .
The status of the test is displayed as Inconclusive on the Results tab and Stopped by User on the progress bar.

You have stopped a test run.

You can re-initiate the test run from the Test Editor page.
