Deleting a suite

You can delete a suite when it is no longer required in your project.

Before you begin

You must have completed the following tasks:
  • Ensured that you are assigned a Team Space Owner, Project Owner, or Member with a Tester role to create or edit a test resource. See Managing access to the server projects.
  • Ensured that your project contains a suite.

Procedure

  1. Log in to Test Hub.
    The Projects page of the initial team space is displayed.
  2. Click My projects > project_name to open the project that contains the suite assets.
    The Overview page of the project is displayed.
  3. Click Author > Test Editor.
    The test navigator panel is displayed.
  4. Select the suite that you want to delete from the test navigator panel.
    The suite opens in Suite Editor.
  5. Click the Edit button displayed on the Suite Editor page.

    The Edit button appears only when no active edit branch is selected.

    The Edit branch dialog is displayed if there is no edit branch active. Otherwise, go to step 7.
  6. Select an existing branch or create a new branch.
  7. Click the Delete icon .

    Alternatively, right-click the suite in the test navigator panel and select Delete.

    The Delete Asset dialog is displayed.
  8. Click Delete.

Results

You have deleted a suite from your project.
