Creating and configuring applications

You can create applications manually or import them from IBM® UrbanCode Deploy.

Before you begin

To import applications from IBM UrbanCode Deploy, set up a connection to the server as described in Integrating with IBM UrbanCode Deploy.

About this task

If you have a connection to an IBM UrbanCode Deploy server, applications from that server are shown automatically on the Applications page of the IBM UrbanCode Release server. If the applications are not visible, refresh the integration manually:
  1. Click Integrations.
  2. Next to the integration with the IBM UrbanCode Deploy server, click Edit .
  3. Click Run Integration.
A status message indicates when the integration is complete. Now, the applications appear on the Applications page. Application snapshots appear in the Versions table as available versions of the application.

You can also add applications manually by clicking Applications, then clicking Add New, and specifying a name and a team for the application.

To view information about an application or component, click it in the table of applications. The right side of the page shows information about the application or component, such as its versions, automated tasks, and environments. You can add statuses to a version by clicking the plus sign next to the version.
