Unsubscribing users and groups from databases
You can deny a user or user group access to a database by removing their subscription to that database. This involves both removing their individual user subscription and removing the user from all groups that are subscribed to the database.
A user who is a member of a group that is subscribed to a database inherits subscription membership even if the user is unsubscribed from the database. To unsubscribe a user from a database, you must remove the user from all the groups that are subscribed to the database.
- In the Designer, click .
- In the User Administration window, click .
- In the Unsubscribe window, select the users or user groups and clear the databases to which you want to deny access.
- Click OK.
- Add this information to the user database. In the User Administration window, click and click OK in the Upgrade window.
