Configuring migration settings for DevOps Control

This topic describes how to use the Configuration Migration user interface to manage migration settings in DevOps Control.

Configuration of migration settings through the values.yaml file is not supported. Migration settings must be managed through the Migration Configuration UI by a Site Administrator.

For existing DevOps Control deployments, Site Administrators must manually migrate the current migration related settings from the values.yaml file to the Migration Configuration UI.

In earlier releases, changes made in the values.yaml file required a server restart before updates could take effect. Configuration changes made through the Migration Configuration UI are applied dynamically and take effect immediately. No server restart is required.

To access the Migration Configuration UI, perform the following steps:

  1. Log in to the DevOps Control application as a Site Administrator.
  2. Navigate to User Profile > Site Administration > Migration.
  3. Enter the required migration configuration details in the Migration Configuration form.
  4. Click Submit to save the configuration.
To review the current migration configuration, navigate to User Profile > Site Administration > Configuration > Summary > Migration Configuration.
