Authenticating users with OpenID Connect (OIDC)

Use the Authentication page to manage user authentication with OpenID Connect.

To configure the OIDC authentication, you must have Measure administrator permission and privileges.

OpenID Connect is an authentication method which you can use to authenticate users.

To configure an OIDC authentication, complete the following steps:

  1. From the Measure page, click Settings > Authentication > OIDC.
  2. Click Configure OIDC .
  3. On OIDC page, in the Name field, enter a name for the OIDC configuration.
  4. In the Description field, enter a description for the OIDC configuration.
  5. In the OIDC Issuer field, enter the issuer for OIDC authentication.
  6. In the Authorization URL field, enter the URL of OIDC authorization provider .
  7. In the Token URL field, enter the URL for token request with OIDC provider.
  8. In the User info URL field, enter the URL for user information request with the OIDC provider.
  9. In the Client ID field, enter the client ID that is registered with the OIDC provider.
  10. In the Client Secret field, enter the client secret that the OIDC provider issues upon registration.
  11. Click Save.

    You have successfully configured OIDC authentication. You can log in to Measure using OIDC configuration.

  12. On the Measure login page, click Login with OIDC to log in using OIDC configuration.
    The Authorization URL page opens to validate the user for accessing the Measure
  13. On the Authorization URL page, enter the username in Username field and password in Password field.
    You have successfully logged in to the Measure.
  14. On the Settings > Authentication > OIDC configuration page, click Delete configuration to delete the OIDC configuration.

You have successfully configured the OIDC authentication. You can log in to Measure using the OIDC authentication.
