Searching for build lives

Use the Search window to locate build lives or miscellaneous jobs using a set of specific criteria.

You can search using a build, request, process, status, or label criterion to search for build lives. To search for a job, use the Misc Job tab.

On the left navigational panel, click Search.
Select the tab for the type of criteria that you want to use for your search.
- To search by build lives, click Build. Filter the search based on project name, build ID, latest status, or latest stamp. The latest stamp filter supports using the asterisk wildcard (*) character to match any sequence of characters.
- To search by build request status, click Request. Filter the search based on request status and project name. The project name filter supports using the asterisk wildcard (*) character to match any sequence of characters.
- To search by process status, click Process. Filter the search based on process status and project name. The project name filter supports using the asterisk wildcard (*) character to match any sequence of characters.
- To search by status, click Status. Filter the search based on build life status and project name. The project name filter supports using the asterisk wildcard (*) character to match any sequence of characters.
- To search by label, click Label. Filter the search based on a build life label name and project name.
  In addition to searching, you can also create a label, and assign and remove a label from build lives.
  - To assign a label, select the desired builds by using the check boxes on the left side of the table. Select a label from the menu and click Assign.
  - To remove a label, select the desired builds using the check boxes on the left side of the table. Select a label from the menu and click Remove Label. The label is removed from the selected build lives; it is not removed from the server. To remove a label from the server, see Managing Labels.
  - To create a label, click Add Additional Label and type in the new label name. After the label is created, it can be assigned to a build life by clicking Assign.
- To search for jobs using a project name, click Misc Jobs and limit the data using the filters on the Project field. Type a number in the Results Per Page field to limit the number of displayed results. The default value is 40.
