Build can use
XMPP-type messages for user notifications.
Configure an XMPP messaging server to route messages.
You can configure notifications that send instant messages to users when certain events
occur. See Creating notification schemes.

On the left navigational panel, click in the Notifications area.

Click Edit.

Type a name for the IM service in the Name field.

Type the host name for the XMPP server in the Server Host field.
The IP address or a host name that can be resolved from the Build
server.

Enter the port number for the server in the Server Port field.
The default value is 5222. Separate multiple ports with commas.

Enter the XMPP user domain in the Domain field.

Enter the user name in the User Name field.
This name is authenticated by the XMPP server.

Enter the password that is associated with the user name in the Password
field.

Click Done.
Click Test to test the configuration. The test results are displayed
in the Service Status field.
