Dashboards and insights
The dashboard consolidates data from all capabilities, such as Plan, Code, Control, Build, Test, Release, and Deploy, by offering a centralized view of the status. Dashboards are available with both summary and detailed perspectives, and they filter information specific to each loop.
After you created a loop, five dashboards for each subscription tier are automatically provisioned and linked directly to the workspace of each loop. These dashboards are universally visible, irrespective of the user's licensing tier. You can see tier-specific differences in the dashboard because of the depth and variety of data sources through integrated applications for a specific tier. The default dashboards are preconfigured and available for immediate use.
For advanced analytics, DevOps Loop includes a milestone risk assessment feature, which requires an optional plug-in.
Dashboard types
| Dashboards | Description |
|---|---|
| Overview | The Overview dashboard provides a high-level summary of loop activity, including issues, team workload, test results, builds, and deployments. |
| Detailed | The Detailed dashboard provides more granular insights, such as issues, pull requests and commits, builds, deployments, test metrics, and timeline performances. |
| Delivery | The Delivery dashboard provides information about Lead Time, Cycle Time, Dev Cycle Time, Deployment Counts, Throughput, Distribution, Deployment Frequency, and Lead Time to Change. |
| Quality and Security | The Quality and Security dashboard provides the information about Functional Tests, Unit Tests, and API Tests. |
Data authorization
All the dashboard data is displayed based on your loop membership and access rights. You can only see information for loops in which you are a member, so that sensitive data remains secure and collaboration across teams stays controlled.
