Running agents

To start an agent, run the shell script or batch file. An agent can be started before or after Build is started. The agent must be started and configured before it can be used.

1. Go to the script. agent_installation\bin directory.
2. Run the appropriate command.
   • On Windows, run this command:

     agent start

   • On Linux or UNIX, , run this command:

     .\agent start

3. After the agent starts, go to the Build web application, and open the Agents tab.

When the process is complete, the agent is listed with a status of Online on the Agents page.
