Managing webhook template

You can create and manage a webhook template to allow Deploy to send notifications to your messaging platform for a specific event.

Before you begin

Make sure that you have configured the template body for your event. See How-tos for example JSON body for Slack and Teams applications.

Procedure

  1. Click Settings > Automation > Webhook Template.
  2. Click Create Webhook Template.
  3. Configure the template in the Create Webhook Template window as follows:
    Parameter Description
    Name Specify the webhook template name.
    Description Add additional information about the webhook.
    Body Define the template body in JSON format. To get started with a template format,
    Type Indicate the event type that triggers the notification. Webhooks support events such as Process Success, Process Failure, Process Started, Scheduled Process Not Started, Approval Completed, Approval Failed, Approval created, External Approval Completed, External Approval Failed, and Task Created.
    Teams Allow access of a template type to specific teams.
  4. Save your changes.

The Webhook template is created and lists in the Webhook Templates page.
