Testing Vault AppRole integration

You can test the Vault AppRole integration before you use the Vault property in a plug-in step.

You must have added an AppRole to the Deploy secret store.
  1. On the Web UI, click Secret Stores > vaultname > App Roles.
  2. Click the Actions button on the desired AppRole, and then click Test.
    The Test Vault AppRole window is displayed.
  3. Enter the Vault key or property you want to test in the Property field.
  4. If the secret ID is not configured for the role, specify the secret ID of the AppRole in the Secret Id field.
  5. Click Test.

    A message is displayed which indicates whether the test is successful or failed.

You have tested the Vault AppRole integration.
