Creating recurrence maintenance blackouts

You can schedule a maintenance in a daily, weekly, or monthly recurrence pattern.

You must ensure the following requirements are met:
  • Obtained permission to manage maintenance mode.
  • Enabled the maintenance mode.
You cannot alter the recurrence pattern of maintenance blackouts after you created a pattern.
  1. Log in to Deploy.
  2. Go to Settings.
  3. Click Manage Maintenance Blackouts in the System panel.
    The settings System page is displayed.
  4. Click Create Maintenance Blackout.
    The Create Maintenance Blackout window is displayed.
  5. Enter the name or description in the Name/Description field.
  6. Select the Start Date for the blackout.
  7. Select the Start Time from the drop-down.
  8. Select the Estimated End Date from the drop-down.
  9. Select the Recurrence Pattern from the drop-down.
  10. You can choose the Daily, Weekly, or Monthly recurrence pattern.
    Note: Select Never for a one-time blackout event.
  11. Click Submit.
You have created a recurrence maintenance blackout. The new recurrence blackout is displayed in the maintenance blackout list.
