Creating proxy servers

Use a proxy server if you need to access servers or repositories, such as Maven, that are on external networks.

You must have administrative permissions to configure proxies.

1. On the left navigational panel, click System, then click Proxy Settings in the Server area, then click Create Proxy.
2. Using the New Proxy page, in the Proxy Name field, type a name.
3. Enter a description the proxy server in the Description area.
4. Type the host name for in the Host field.
5. Type the port number that Build uses to communicate with the proxy server in the Port.
6. Type the user name fin the User Name field.

   The name Build uses to connect to the proxy server.

7. Type the password for the account in the Password field.
8. Click Save.
