Configuring agents

After an agent is installed, it must be configured before it can be used.

Install at least one agent and ensure that it is online.

For information about installing agents, see Installing agents from the command line.

Once configured, access to the agent can be restricted using the security features, see Security.
  1. On the left navigational panel, click Agent > Available.
    Agents with the status of Available are connected to the Build server but not yet configured.
  2. Select the agents that you want to configure then use the Configure action .
    If configuration is successful, the agents are no longer displayed in the Available list.
  3. Click Configured.
    The configured agents are displayed in the Configured list with the status of Online.
After an agent is configured, you can modify its settings.
