Setting system-level security
Use system-level security settings to determine access to the IBM® DevOps Build (Build) server
- From the Build dashboard, click System, then click Server Settings.
- Click Security, then click Edit.

Using the following table, enable options by selecting the associated check box.
Table 1. System-level security settings Option Description Audit User Transactions When selected, the server stores security and configuration changes. The log can be accessed on the Audit page. The default value is unselected. See, Auditing user activity. Allow Multiple Sessions per User Enables users to concurrently log on from multiple computers and browsers. If cleared, the current session automatically expires if the user logs on from a second computer. The default value is selected. Allow Use of Login Cookie Allows users to log on with a cookie based on prior log-ins with the same computer and browser. The default value is selected. Allow Auto-Complete Feature in Web Browsers Allows web browsers to use auto-complete features. The default value is unselected. Allow Anonymous Guest Access Allows anonymous logon as guest user. The default value is unselected. Show Error Trace in UI Displays server errors in the UI. The default value is selected. Unique Names Across All Authentication Realms Forces all user names to be unique regardless of the authentication realm used. The default value is unselected. - Optional:
Enter IP addresses and host names that can serve as repository triggers for builds in the
Allowed Addresses for Repository Triggers area.
Place each item on a separate line. Each item must be a regular expression. In IP addresses or host names, escape periods with the backslash character '\'. For example,
127\.0\.0\.1. Initially, no addresses are listed. - Click Save.
