Remote syntax check for a C/C++ PDS member

Use the Remote Syntax Check action to generate a JCL script to compile the selected C or C++ PDS member, parse returned errors, and add them to the remote error list.

To check the syntax of a C or C++ PDS member:

1. In the Remote Systems view or the z/OS Projects view, right-click the C or C++ PDS member to compile.
2. Select Remote Syntax Check. Returned errors are added to the remote error list.
   Note: This action does not generate an object file.
