Additional JCL Options Tab

Use this tab to specify additional JCL Generation options.

The default values for this tab can be configured on the JCL Generation preference page.

Fields

Job Card: Use this field to add a job card during the JCL generation process. If the existing JCL already has a job card, this field is ignored.

Source Lookup: Use this area to add MVS data sets or z/OS Unix files to have the debugger resolve source listings during the debug session. You can add entries in one of the following ways:
  • Manual Entry: Enter the name of the desired MVS data set or the full path to a z/OS Unix file or directory, select the appropriate type from the Type drop-down, and click the Add button.
    Note: z/OS UNIX files are only supported for Source (COBOL) type.
  • Browse: Click the Browse button to search for and select the appropriate data set.
    Note: The file dialog only contains MVS data sets.
Note: Any data sets added with the type option Source (COBOL) are ignored during debug sessions.

Preferences: Click on this link to open the Preferences window and change default preferences when you create debug configurations.
