Setting preferences for the Data Editor
You can set preferences that control the appearance and function of the Data Editor.
To access the following preferences for the Data Editor, open the
Preferences window and navigate to .
- Number of records for the editor window size
- Controls the default number of records that show up in the editor when an edit session is started. This value does not represent a minimum or maximum number of records that can be displayed. The number of records displayed changes if records are added or removed in the current data set in the editor. If records are added or removed from the data set, the window size is altered.
- Number of records of the step size

- Undo history size
- Sets the number of consecutive actions that can be undone in an edit session. For example, setting the undo limit to 10 allows you to undo the last 10 actions that were performed during an edit session.
- New or changed records color

- Hex line color
- Defines the background color for hexadecimal lines.
