Getting help for language elements
To get help for an HLASM language element, hover the cursor over the element. Press F2 to place focus in the hover help. Hover help is available for symbols, instructions, copy members, default macros that are defined in SYS1.MACLIB, local and remote macros defined in a local and remote property group, and custom macros that are defined in the program. Limitation:
- A parse tree must exist for a hover help to appear. An easy way to promote it is to ensure the Outline view is visible and active in the workbench.
