Browsing a data set

The browse capability allows data sets to be opened and viewed in a read-only edit session. In a browse session, the copy function, find function, and all other editor functions that do not modify the content of the data set are still available. The copy function can be used only to copy the contents of cells within the editor. The find/replace function is limited to searching and restricts the ability to replace text.

To start a browse session, right-click any data set within the Remote Systems view and select Browse from the menu.
