Adding and editing records

In the z Systems® Data Editor, you can add and edit records one at a time.

Adding records
You can insert new records before or after the current record.
Editing records
In the z Systems Data Editor, you can edit records one at a time. For the record that you want to edit, place the cursor in the data field. The record number portion of the record cannot be edited. You can edit records in character view or hex view. When in character view, data can be in the main editor workspace or single mode view workspace.
