autoComment Set

The autoComment Set command sets the value of <option_name> to <option_value> for the current file.

Syntax

autoComment Set <option_name option_value>

Arguments

<option_name>
Specifies the name of the option for which you want to set the value.
<option_value>
Specifies the new value for the selected option.
Tip: If the command is successful, a message appears indicating the new value. If the command fails, a syntax message appears to indicate the error that occurred while changing the option.
By default, changes made from the LPEX command line only apply to the current session. To save your changes, type one of the following commands from the LPEX command line:
  • autoComment save <new_profile_name> - where <new_profile_name> is the name of the new language profile you want to create to save your changes.
  • autoComment save - to save your changes to the current language profile.
The autoComment command is case-sensitive; the arguments are not case-sensitive.
