The Workload Specifications (WLMSPEC) view displays default control attributes that are used for CICPlex SM workload management. When associated with a routing region, the specification name becomes the workload name for that region. The WLMSPEC also provides the anchor for all explicit workload definitions associated with the CICS system. Although a WLM specification may be associated with any number of routing regions, a CICS region may have only one WLMSPEC associated with it.
If you select a CICSplex in the CICSplex Explorer view, all workload specifications in the CICSplex are displayed. If you select a single CICS® region, only workload specifications in the CICS region are displayed.
