TDQ Definition editor

The TDQ Definition editor is used to view and update TDQ definitions. The attributes for the definition are displayed in pages in the editor, identified by tabs in the editor view. Each page contains one or more resource attributes, or properties, arranged in logical groups.

Descriptions of the TDQ definition attributes are in Table 1. The pages displayed in the TDQ Definition editor change depending on the type of TDQ being edited: Intrapartition, Extrapartition, Indirect, or Remote. The pages in the TDQ Definition editor are as follows:

Attributes (all TDQ types)

The Attributes page displays a list of all the attributes (Properties) for the resource, and the attribute values. The attributes are grouped together in the same as way they appear in CEDA or the CICSPlex® SM WUI.

Overview (all TDQ types)

The Overview page groups a number of attributes into the following logical sections:
Basic (all TDQ types)
The Basic section contains the following attributes:
  • NAME
  • DESCRIPTION
  • CREATETIME
  • CHANGETIME
  • DEFVER
Data set (extrapartition only)
The Data set section contains the following attributes:
  • DDNAME
  • REWIND
  • OPENTIME
  • DISPOSITION
  • TYPEFILE
Destination (intrapartition only)
The Destination section contains the following attributes:
  • ATIFACILITY
  • FACILITYID
  • TERMID
Indirect (indirect only)
The Indirect section contains the following attribute:
  • INDIRECTNAME
Number of buffers (extrapartition only)
The Number of buffers section contains the following attribute:
  • DATABUFFERS
Remote (remote only)
The Remote section contains the following attributes:
  • REMOTESYSTEM
  • REMOTENAME
  • REMOTELENGTH
  • RECORDSIZE
Transaction Initiation (intrapartition only)
The Transaction Initiation section contains the following attributes:
  • TRIGGERLEVEL
  • TRANSID
  • USERID
User data (all TDQ types)
The User Data section contains the optional CICSPlex SM data attributes:
  • USERDATA1
  • USERDATA2
  • USERDATA3

Runtime (extrapartition and intrapartition only)

The Printer page groups a number of attributes into the following logical sections:
