The Partition Set Definitions (PRTNDEF) view displays information about the characteristics of display partition configuration definitions.
The definitions visible in the view depend on the CICS Explorer® context that is selected:

| CICSplex | All definitions defined to the CICSPlex® SM data repository for the selected CICSplex. |
| CICSPlex SM resource group (RESGROUP) | Only resource definitions defined to the CICSPlex SM Data Repository for the selected Resource group. |
| CICS® system group | All definitions defined to the CICSPlex SM data repository for the selected CICSplex. |
| CICS region | For CICS TS Version 4 or later, all definitions defined to the CSD that is used by the CICS region. |
| CICS group (CSDGROUP) | For CICS TS Version 4 or later, all definitions defined to the selected group in the CSD that is used by the CICS region. |
