Importing and exporting CARMA views

User-defined CARMA views can be imported and exported from the CARMA Repositories view.

To export all CARMA views, follow these steps:
  1. From the CARMA Repositories view, right-click on a CARMA repository and select Export Views from the menu.
  2. Enter a name and location to save the exported views to and then select OK to export the views.
To export only selected CARMA views, follow these steps:
  1. Using Ctrl + click, select each view that you would like to export from the CARMA Repositories view.
  2. Right-click on one of the selections and then select Export Views from the menu.
  3. Enter a name and location to save the exported views, and then select OK to export the views.
Note: A separate schema is used for exporting Package views versus SCM views, so two different files need to be created if exporting Package views and SCM views.
To import CARMA views, follow these steps:
  1. From the CARMA Repositories view, right-click on the CARMA repository from which the views were exported and select Import Views from the menu.
  2. Using the file browser, navigate to where the exported CARMA views file is located and select it. Press OK to import the views.
