Using Customize Table

Use Customize Table window to customize the view of the CARMA Fields Table view columns. This window eliminates the need to scroll back and forth to reorder and hide columns.

The Customize Table Window

The Customize Table window is divided into two separate lists of columns, Available contents and Displayed contents. Column names that are listed in Available contents are hidden columns and do not appear in the CARMA Fields Table view. Column names that are listed in Displayed contents are the columns that make up the CARMA Fields Table view.

You can use the Customize Table window to hide, restore, and rearrange columns.

Hiding Columns

You can prevent columns from displaying in the CARMA Fields Table view by hiding them. To hide displayed columns withCustomize Table:
  1. Select one or more columns from the Displayed contents list.
  2. Click <Remove to remove those columns from the Displayed contents list. They are added to the Available contents list.
  3. Click OK. The CARMA Fields Table view is updated.

Restoring Columns

You can display previously hidden columns by restoring them to the CARMA Fields Table view. To restore hidden columns with Customize Table:
  1. Select one or more columns from the Available contents list.
  2. Click Add> to add those columns to the Displayed contents list.
  3. Click OK. The CARMA Fields Table view is updated.
Alternatively, you can select the Reset Table option in the CARMA Fields Table view to reset the table and restore any hidden columns.

Reordering Columns

You can reorder long lists of columns by using Move up and Move down in the Customize Table. To reorder columns in the Customize Table view:
  1. Select the column name to reorder.
  2. Select the Move up to move up the column name in the list. The column name is moved to the left in the CARMA Fields Table view.
  3. Select the Move down to move the column name down in the list. The column name is moved to the right in the CARMA Fields Table view.
