Creating a Menu Manager action and menu on JES jobs

You can create a Menu Manager action and menu on JES jobs that are listed in the Remote Systems view.

Procedure

  1. In Preferences window, complete the following steps:
    1. Double-click Menu Manager, and click Actions and Menus.
    2. In the Actions and Menus pane, specify the path name of an XML file.
      For example, specify C:\local_files\rdz\jes_actions.xml.
  2. In the Actions and Menus pane, click the Actions tab, and click New Local/Remote Action.
  3. In the New Action Page page of the Menu Manager New Action Wizard window, do these steps:
    1. Type a name for the action that you are creating.
    2. Optional: Type a comment.
    3. Select the JES Jobs in Remote Systems view or the JES Jobs in Remote Systems Details view context.
    4. Click Next.
  4. In the Actions and Menus pane, click the Menus tab and click New Menu.
  5. In the New Menu wizard, create a custom menu by doing the steps that are described in Creating a custom data set menu.
