Known issues and limitations with IBM Developer for z/OS on VS Code
Z Open Debug with IBM Developer for z/OS on VS Code is not supported on macOS and has the following issues and limitations
on Windows:
- Not all the Debug Console commands are available.
- No variable filters or auto monitor is available.
- Debug profiles are not automatically inactivated when you shut down the IDE or disconnect from the host.
Deleting the last zOpenDebug connection profile might not be reflected in the z/OS Debugger Profiles view.
Known issues and limitations with Wazi for Dev Spaces
Z Open Debug with Wazi for Dev Spaces has the following issues and limitations:
- Not all the Debug Console commands are available.
- No variable filters or auto monitor is available.
- Debug profiles are not automatically inactivated when you shut down the IDE or disconnect from the host.
Z Open Debug currently does not support token-based authentication.
Deleting the last zOpenDebug connection profile might not be reflected in the z/OS Debugger Profiles view.
