Depending on the function you are trying to perform, you
might want to change the access permissions for a file or a directory
in the z/OS Unix file system. You can change the permissions using
the z/OS Explorer.
Creating a new z/OS Unix file
You can create a new file in a directory in your z/OS Unix
file system using the z/OS Explorer.
Creating a new z/OS Unix directory
You can create a new directory in your z/OS Unix file system
using the z/OS Explorer.
You can then edit the member and copy and paste content from other
members.
Editing z/OS Unix files
You can open a file in your z/OS Unix file system and edit
the contents by using the z/OS Explorer.
When your changes are complete, you can save the file if you are authorized
to do so. You can also use the Save As action
to save the changes with a different file name or file path.
