Use the Specification tab to work with event specifications and capture specifications.
The left pane lists event specifications and capture specifications in a tree structure. The capture specifications for an event are indented under the event specification. You can select a specification to edit details on the right. You can also right-click a specification for a menu of options.
If you right-click an event specification in the left pane a pop-up menu is displayed:
If you right-click a capture specification in the left pane a pop-up menu is displayed:
The event and capture specification panes have sections that can be collapsed. The CICS® event binding editor remembers which sections are expanded and collapsed when you switch between specifications. For example, if you want to compare application data between several capture specifications, you can collapse the context and event options sections first.
The right pane shows the specification that is selected in the specifications navigation tree, that is in the left pane.
