Verifying build settings

Follow these steps to verify build settings for an MVS subproject.

Procedure

  1. In the z/OS Projects view, right-click the subproject of interest and select Property Group > Edit Associated Property Group from the menu.
  2. In the Property Group editor, click the tabs to open property pages and make changes as appropriate.
    The following entries are most relevant to building z/OS® projects:
    • To identify the data sets used during build, see the entry for Assembler Settings, COBOL Settings, or PL/I Settings; also see the entry for Link Options.
    • To identify the job card that is used in generated JCL, as well as the data set that receives the JCL, see the entry for JCL Job Card and Data Set.
    • To identify certain characteristics of the load module, see the entry for Application Entry Point (on the Properties page) and the entry for Runtime Options.
  3. After you make changes, close and save the property group.
