Access through installed help contents

The help contents that are needed to support EXEC statements can be accessed by installing the IMS and CICS® product documentation on your local workstation. This option essentially integrates the content into your current Help Contents. You have access to all the information available for these products and the information that is needed for functions that require language-sensitive information is available.

Procedure

  1. In the Preferences window, navigate to Help > Remote Access Configuration.
  2. Click New.
  3. Type a name for the product documentation in the Name field.
  4. Type the URL for the product documentation in the URL field.

  5. Click Test Connection to verify that the connection to the product documentation works.
    Note: If you are adding documentation for both products, repeat steps 2 through 5 to add the other product documentation.
  6. Click Help > EXEC statements. In the Product Documentation Access field for the appropriate product documentation, select Enabled in Help Content.
  7. Click Apply > OK for the changes to take effect.
