Working with routing rules

A routing rule is the term that is used for a combination of a set of target regions, and the criteria and conditions under which they are selected. All workloads have a default rule, but you can create additional specific routing rules. to a workload specification.

The rules are used to route work requests to a specific set of target regions that are based on the terminal and user names, or the process types, which are associated with those work requests. You can create, edit, and remove routing rules in the Workload Specification editor.

By default, every routing rule is created in a new workload group, but you can choose to move the rule to a different group and associate the rule with other rules.
