In the Workload Specification editor
you can remove a routing rule from a workload group, or you can remove
the workload group and all the rules in the group from the workload
specification.
Before you begin
In the Rules section of the Workload
Specification editor, click the Show or hide
names icon
to show the workload groups.
Procedure
Right-click the routing rule, or workload group, that you
want to remove, and click Remove from Workload Specification. The rule, or group that you selected is prefixed with
the less than symbol:
<, which indicates
that the item will be removed. When you click
Ctrl+S,
the following changes take place:
- If you selected a rule, and the rule is in a group with other
rules, then the rule is removed from the group and the workload specification.
- If you selected a rule, and the rule is the only rule in a group,
then the rule and the group are removed from the workload specification.
- If you selected a group, then the group, and all the rules in
the group, are removed from the workload specification.
If you do not want to make the changes, you can undo them by
clicking
Ctrl+Z at any time before you save
the changes. If you have already saved your changes, you can re-add
the rules or groups by clicking the
Import icon

and
using the import function.
Note: If you want to remove the routing
rule from a group but leave the rule in the workload specification,
then you must use the Group with > Ungroup action
instead of the Remove from Workload Specification action.
