Setting Remote Makefile Editor Settings preferences

You can use the Remote Makefile Editor Settings preference page to indicate to the Remote Makefile Editor which parser should be used when determining syntax of a makefile.

To set the Remote Makefile Editor Settings preferences, complete the following steps:

1. In the navigation pane of the Preferences window, double-click Remote Makefile Editor to open the tree of available preference pages.
2. Select Settings to open the Remote Makefile Editor Settings preferences.
3. Specify which style of Makefile will be used in the Remote Makefile Editor: Posix Make or GNU Make.
