Setting C/C++ parser general preferences

You can use the General preference page to control the general behavior of the C/C++ parser in the z Systems® LPEX Editor.

1. In the navigation pane of the Preferences window, double-click the LPEX node to open the tree of available preference pages.
2. Double-click the z Systems LPEX node, then click C/C++ Parser .
3. Click General to open the General preference page
4. Specify General Behavior:
   1. Optional. Specify whether or not the editor should highlight the matching bracket when the cursor is positioned next to a bracket in the editor.
   2. Optional. Specify whether or not inactive code should be highlighted in the editor.
   3. Optional. Specify desired colors to be used in the editor for the various controls:
      • Matching brackets highlight
      • Inactive code highlight
      • Completion proposal background
      • Completion proposal foreground
      • Parameter hint background
      • Parameter hint foreground
5. Do one of the following:
   • Click Restore Defaults to discard your changes and restore the default settings for this page.
   • Click Apply to save your selections in the preference page.

   Note: The preferences set on this page also apply to the Remote C/C++ Editor.
