Highlighting occurrences of a find text operation

Use the Find Text preference page of the z Systems® LPEX Editor preferences to enable the editor to highlight all matches resulting from a find text operation.

Highlight all occurrences

When you select this checkbox, the z Systems LPEX editor highlights all results of an Edit > Find operation or a findText line command. Enabling this option also displays a count of occurrences in the response line of the editor. When this preference is set, the Incremental find dialog option of the base LPEX editor is disabled. Highlighted occurrences of a find text operation remain highlighted until there is a change to the file contents or until another find text operation is run, even when the cursor is moved (such as by using the mouse or pressing the page-up/page-down keys).
