Customizing the Actions and Menus preference page

Several aspects of the display and behavior of the Menu Manager Actions and Menus preference page can be customized to suit your individual needs.

About this task

You can customize the Actions and Menus preference page to:

• Filter by menus.
• Filter actions by file type.
• Attach or detach label decorations from read-only, overridden, or unavailable actions and menus.

These customizations (excluding label decorations) apply only to the current session of the Menu Manager, and are not saved when you close the preference page. Changes to label decorations are made and saved at the workbench level; these changes persist when you close the workbench Preferences window.
