Finding feature updates

A user who installed one of your features might want to know when a new version of the feature is available. You can configure the product to automatically notify you when an update to a feature is available, or you can check for an update manually.

• You can set a preference to be automatically notified when an update is available:
  1. In the Preferences window, navigate to Install/Update > Automatic Updates.
  2. In the right pane, select Automatically find new updates and notify me.
• To check the available update sites for a newer version, click Help > Check for updates.
  If an update exists for any of the installed features, the Available Updates wizard opens. Use this wizard to install the updated version.
